Trusts & Foundations

A number of charitable trusts and foundations are partnering with ANAM to extend the scope and ambition of the Academy’s program, and enable ANAM's musicians to participate fully in the busy schedule of inspiring performance training opportunities.

Besen Family Foundation - ANAM Fellowships
The Besen Family Foundation is generously supporting the ANAM Fellowships program. The Fellowships are awarded to students or ensembles of exceptional talent and accomplishment and provide them with the opportuinty to undertake a particular project, performance season or training outcome.

Bokhara Foundation – The Georgina Grosvenor Scholarship
The Georgina Grosvenor Scholarship is offered each year to provide a viola student of outstanding ability with rental and living support so that they may maximise the time that they have available to devote to practice and refining their musical skills. 

Harold Mitchell Foundation – Harold Mitchell Foundation ANAMates
The Harold Mitchell Foundation has joined with ANAM to sponsor the purchase of 100 ANAMates memberships for distribution to disadvantaged groups within the local community. These memberships provide individuals, whowould be otherwise unable to, the opportunity to enrich their livesand enjoy music, masterclasses and seminars at ANAM.

Helen Macpherson Smith Trust - ANAM Health and Wellbeing Program
ANAM has been generously supported by the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust for the development and implementation of our Health and Wellbeing program, a unique melding of physical and mental health and wellbeing training for musical education. The program will be guided by leading experts in their fields, including performance psychologists, musician health and injury provention and treatment practitioners and alternate therapies.

Ian Potter Foundation - ANAM Orchestra
The Ian Potter Foundation is supporting the development of the ANAM Orchestra, a core aspect of the ANAM performance training program.

McCusker Charitable Foundation - Student Bursary Support
Funding supplied by the McCusker Charitable Foundation provides essential living support to ANAM's Western Australian students as they undertake the professional performance program offered at ANAM.

Newsboys Foundation - Community ANAMates Memberships
ANAM has joined with the Newsboys Foundation in the provision of ANAMates memberships for disadvantaged young people so that they may build self-confidence and realise their potential by experiencing ANAM's performances.

Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation – Conversations with Ghosts 
The Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation has funded ANAM's continued exploration of theatrical and contemporary music performance by supporting the commissioning of James Ledger and Paul Kelly for Conversations with Ghosts.

Robert Salzer Foundation - The Robert Salzer Library
The Robert Salzer Foundation has joined with ANAM to support the Academy's music resource library. The Robert Salzer Library will ensure that ANAM students have access to a vast array of musical scores, reference materials, repertoire recordings and current music publications, vitally important to their music training program.
