Our ANAM Orchestra is now complete, as we welcome percussion students for the first time in 2013.
However, our faculty and students desperately need more orchestral chairs and stands!
ANAM has never owned enough chairs and music stands to fit out all of our rehearsal studios and a full orchestral seating at the same time, and we desperately need to get our musicians properly seated.
This is why I have already supported our Seats and Stands fundraising program.
Each set of a stand and orchestral chair costs $500 to purchase. With this campaign we are aiming to raise enough funds to purchase 80 sets, which would provide a new chair and music stand for each ANAM student and faculty member.
This means we can deliver our current professional performance program of concerts and activities without having to spend valuable time finding and collecting chairs and stands every time a rehearsal is called.
I ask you to join me in enabling our musicians to be seated! Could there be a better cause?
