The Academy will develop the country’s future musical leaders, distinguished by their musical skill, imagination and courage, and by their determined contribution to a vibrant Australian musical culture. Located in the historic South Melbourne Town Hall, The Australian National Academy of Music is Australia’s only national, purely performance-based music training institution, bringing together the finest young musicians from around the country for an intensive year-long program of study, training and performance.
