Student Schedule
The weekly schedule for musicians at the Academy comprises
• private tuition;
• instrumental classes;
• solo performance forum;
• chamber music practice and coaching;
• orchestra and ensemble rehearsal;
• Fridays@3 (lecture series)
In addition to these core activities, in 2010 the Academy is offering
• leadership training;
• 'Artist in Residence' programs with City of Port Phillip Primary Schools;
• partnering Victorian Opera in the Dandenong Ranges schools project;
• performances in City of Port Phillip nursing homes and other facilities;
• presentation of ANAM Community Day each year;
• public speaking and presentation training;
• participation in the Academy’s Community Engagement Program
• (partnered with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s Community Outreach Program);
• Alexander Technique classes
