A number of charitable trusts and foundations are partnering with ANAM to extend the scope and ambition of the Academy’s program, and enable ANAM's musicians to participate fully in the busy schedule of inspiring performance training opportunities.
Sidney Myer Foundation - Bach Suites
In partnership with the Sidney Myer Foundation, ANAM is developing a unique project exploring the world of the six suites for solo cello by JS Bach, with six cellists, six dancers, cellist Howard Penny, choreographer Helen Herbetson and designer Ben Cobham.
Harold Mitchell Foundation – Harold Mitchell Foundation Travelling Scholarship
The Harold Mitchell Foundation is sponsoring a two-year scholarship to assist graduating ANAM students undertaking studies at prestigious international institutions.
Besen Family Foundation – Tract
The Besen Family Foundation have generously supported ANAM's students collaborative work with the Australian Art Orchestra and the Young Wagilak Group with Tract.
Bokhara Foundation – The Georgina Grosvenor Scholarship
The Georgina Grosvenor Scholarship is offered each year to provide a viola student of outstanding ability with rental and living support so that they may maximise the time that they have available to devote to practice and refining their musical skills.
Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation – Conversations with Ghosts
The Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation has funded ANAM's continued exploration of theatrical and contemporary music performance by supporting the commissioning of James Ledger and Paul Kelly for Conversations with Ghosts.
Ian Potter Foundation - Quartetthaus
The Ian Potter Foundation is supporting Quartetthaus, a specially designed and constructed space that provides a unique opportunity for audiences to experience the historic and contemporary resonance of the string quartet.
Robert Salzer Foundation - The Robert Salzer Library
The Robert Salzer Foundation has joined with ANAM to support the Academy's music resource library. The Robert Salzer Library will ensure that ANAM students have access to a vast array of musical scores, reference materials, repertoire recordings and current music publications, vitally important to their music training program.
Henkell Family Fund, Australian Communities Foundation
The Henkell Family Fund has generously supported Sara Macliver's ANAM residency.
McCusker Charitable Foundation, Victor Fox Foundation - Student Bursary Support
Funding generously supplied by the McCusker Charitable Foundation and the Victor Fox Foundation provide essential living support to ANAM students as they undertake the professional performance program offered at ANAM.
