Music is everywhere at ANAM
The creative energy generated between students, artists, teachers, administrators and audiences informs the Academy’s reputation as a vibrant centre for training and performance excellence in Australia.
ANAM is Australia’s only purely performance-based institution for training the country’s most outstanding young classical musicians. Our 55 students are drawn from around the country and work under the direction of some of Australia’s and the world’s leading performers and teachers in an intense program of classes, lessons, seminars, rehearsals and over 170 public performances each year.
In 2010 ANAM’s performance space will be filled with music by a diverse range of composers both established and new, and enlivened by a host of artists including musicians, composers, choreographers, dancers, designers, comedians, and cabaret performers, creating a festival-like celebration.
In order to ensure ANAM’s continuing commitment to the training of the artistic leaders of tomorrow, the Academy relies on the generosity of its supporters, sponsors and donors. All gifts are hugely appreciated and provide an essential source of support for our talented young students. Ongoing investment in the life of the Academy also ensures we can provide a wide range of innovative and daring activities and programs and puts us in a strong position to attract the very best faculty members, resident and visiting artists, performers and speakers.
